These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SpendFlow, a personal-finance web app for tracking income, expenses, budgets and accounts. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SpendFlow.
Account & Eligibility
You sign in using a third-party identity provider (currently Google, with more providers such as GitHub planned). You must provide accurate information via that provider and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use SpendFlow.
Third-Party Sign-In
Authentication is handled by Supabase, either through Google (OAuth) or a one-time code sent to your email. We do not receive or store your Google password, and no SpendFlow password exists. Your use of each provider is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
Your Data
You retain ownership of the financial data you enter — transactions, accounts, categories and budgets. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of that data. See our
Privacy Policy for how it is collected, stored and protected.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use SpendFlow for unlawful purposes or to store data you do not have the right to store.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt, or abuse the service (e.g. scraping, rate-limit evasion, reverse engineering).
- Do not use the service to defraud, mislead, or harm any person or institution.
No Financial Advice
SpendFlow is a personal record-keeping and budgeting tool. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the app's summaries or charts are your own responsibility.
Service Availability
SpendFlow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendFlow is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendFlow and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.
Account Termination
You may stop using SpendFlow and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated version. Continued use of SpendFlow after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
